Our Corporate women's development programmes are available to deliver virtually and face to face. The Programme is split into 3 parts, with a celebration webinar after completion of all the modules.
We recommend a break of 4-6 weeks between each 'Part' of the Programme to embed the learning and to put into practical context.
The RISE journey begins with an exciting and experiential workshop that gives delegates the time to investigate where they are in life and provides them with the knowledge and confidence to play to their strengths.
During this introspective session we create a safe environment and a supportive community for the delegates to discuss their strengths and challenges whilst providing an opportunity to consider how to overcome barriers and reach their potential.
'Time to Elev8te' introduces the participants to the development programme and integrates leading edge research that compliments participant's own personal experiences to provide practical learning and a usable toolkit of strategies.
This is a critical area for all women to work on; many women are unaware of the impact they have on others. Gravitas is a nebulous term, but a requisite quality for females in business. Therefore understanding how to have presence and impact is highly important.
Another issue can be around how women demonstrate passion at work. We help women to ensure they are not perceived as overly emotional. Sometimes women confuse aggressiveness and assertion, or swing unpredictably between the two.
This workshop helps women to understand how to create the right balance with their gravitas. Delegates will learn how to focus on congruency in verbal, vocal and non-verbal behaviour and to pitch ideas with confidence.
One of the biggest issues that women seem to suffer from is lack of confidence. This often mean that they don't feel empowered or feel nervous about accepting responsibility and authority.
Whilst there are many external barriers that women have to overcome in order to achieve success in the workplace, there are also many internal barriers and, more often that not, confidence is a contributing factor to these barriers.
Once women understand that confidence is not constant and that it can be manufactures in different situations they immediately start to feel more in control. In many circumstances women need to change their 'limiting' beliefs and once they understand how to do this they soon realise they can achieve anything!
This workshop provides powerful tools and techniques for increasing confidence and ensuring that 'self-talk' is supportive and empowering.
This is a critical module for all women, but is particularly helpful for women who need to enhance their visibility and struggle with the concept of networking. Sadly just doing a great job nowadays does not always get you promoted.
Figures show that a big proportion of a person's success in their career is down to their visibility. Some women are unsure of what visibility is and how they work on improving it, whilst other simply feel uncomfortable in broadcasting their strengths and successes.
This very practical workshop demystifies networking and helps women to address why networking is so important and how to build their network. It also allows them to look at how they make a great first impression at meetings, in other high profile situations, in the virtual world and on social media.
For all of us at work, managing stakeholder and colleague relationship is an absolute key to success, but when women are working in a man's world it is vital that they are able to manage different behaviours and styles effectively.
Many women naturally have high emotional intelligence, but still need help in understanding how to manage more challenging behaviour in order to build relationships. It is recognised that women are also skilled at encouraging collaboration and this can help tremendously during periods of change - these are the type of skills and strengths they need to develop.
The key to effective relationship management is understanding that many things impact on communication including the fact that men and women communicate differently and people have varied styles and preferences. Effective and assertive articulation makes it much easier to plan how to approach people and how to manage difficult situations.
This module equips women with techniques to maximise their skills by working on real communication and relationship issues.
With many organisations looking to increase the amount of women in senior positions, there is a great need to develop the female leadership talent.
Whilst there are areas of leadership development that apply equally to men and women there are areas that women need special help with, namely;
Establishing authority and credibility
Managing different team dynamics
Managing upwards
Ensuring they get support and commitment from teams.
It is also critical that women learn how to develop and flex their leadership skills and manage their emotions appropriately. This module is all about how to be a leader, whether that is a leader of teams, leading in a matrix environment or leading a project or an idea.
Delegates will explore the importance of developing credibility through a warm but powerful style as a leader.
The 'glass-ceiling' in businesses has been widely debated, but some women would suggest that this doesn't really exist. If you are tenacious enough you will easily break through the perceived 'ceiling'.
This module helps women to recognise that great careers are by 'design' and not by 'accident'. It is vital that you understand how to construct a career development plan and know how to have a constructive conversation with your manager.
Women traditionally are more risk averse than men, which means that when it comes to applying for jobs they may not recognise their transferable skills and therefore may under-sell themselves. This workshop also supports women in considering 'rejection' issues, how to re-frame them and bounce back.
Starting with a 10 year plan this module helps participants to identify how to enhance and enrich their current role as well as actively managing their career.
To complete the programme delegates are invited to a webinar, not only to recap the most powerful messages of the programme, but to celebrate their successes both in their personal and professional lives.
